The Cruz da Ordem de Cristo or Cruz de Portugal served as inspiration in the creation of the pattern used in the jerseys worn by Portuguese athletes. The Cruz de Cristo is an emblem of the historic Order of Christ of Portugal, which has since become an intrinsic Portuguese symbol and serves as an incentive to courage and effort for victory. The line, designed for male and female athletes, consists of classic navy blue trousers, a white jacket with a hood, which includes red and green details on the inside, representing the colors of Portugal, a t-shirt and a white polo with dark blue details on the sleeves and the Portuguese cross pattern on the front. Also the dark blue fanny pack and white sneakers, with dark blue details and the colors of Portugal, make the Portuguese athletes complete look.
